Almost nothing. OhPlug runs entirely on your Mac. We don't have servers, accounts, or analytics baked into the app. Your sound preferences, stats, and settings stay on your device in local storage (UserDefaults).
When you purchase OhPlug, your license key is validated via LemonSqueezy's API. This sends your license key and a machine identifier (hardware UUID) to LemonSqueezy to verify your purchase. We don't store this data on our own servers — LemonSqueezy handles it.
OhPlug uses Sparkle to check for updates. This sends a request to our update feed URL to see if a new version is available. No personal data is transmitted — just a version check.
No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reporters. No cookies. We literally don't know how many people use OhPlug, and we're fine with that.
All data stays on your Mac: selected voice pack, volume level, enabled/disabled sounds, license key, charge stats, and streaks. Nothing leaves your device except license validation and update checks.
LemonSqueezy (payment processing & license validation) and Sparkle (update checks). That's it. Both have their own privacy policies.
